I read the CW review of the H2 and it smells like hype to me. The author goes on about how this bike changes how you think about bike, he even says its like looking into an infinite universe? WTF? He says he has never felt acceleration like this but he has ridden a Busa Turbo with 300+ HP? Then at the end of the article the test riders opinions point out tht: The BMW has 8 less HP but weighs almost 80 lbs less. Or that the ZX14R is still the fastest accelerating bike on the planet. They point out that the BMW gets to 189 faster. Then they point out that the GVW says the bike can only carry 227 lbs, 227 lbs? There are scooters rated higher than that.

    Hype.

Lardthunderinjeezus you're a hard case meson!

First you don't like Honda's new motogp bike for the street now you are bitching about the H2, pretty soon you will be getting your grumpy curmudgeon on and will be extolling the virtues of the best bike ever, the Vincent Black Shadow.

    LOL ;)

In all seriousness, Cycle World has always been about the hype, with the exception of Kevin Cameron's column.

    cheers

The ZX10R looks pretty damn wicked. I am also waiting for the GSXR1000. Suzuki always builds mechanically superior bikes, can't wait to see their take on electronics. All the BMW1000 variants look like awesome rides too. I just hate when bikes get hyped. Every bike is a compromise, just is about whether or not you are feeling the choices the manufacturer made.

Easy to work on, bullet proof motors, those qualities never get mentioned in reviews, not to mention, most Suzukis still look good after ten years.

Although the Madura makes my top ten for butt ugly. Suzuki dropped the ball there... LOL

    cheers

    Wait and watch.
Suzuki still comes back with something that has been around more than 15 years on the road.
Then hear nothing more from those other brands or models.
Which you only find in the slums for parts.

Everything is bad except Suzuki Gxr1300R
