I got my K8 busa couple of weeks ago and the very first 200 breaking in kms behind during Easter time - awesome bike:oh yeah:

It was roughly -2C degrees so it was quite hard to get tyres warm enough and some grip :wacko:. Anyway really fun for the long time.

But now we do have a winter storm again and forced for small break before next ride.

It was roughly -2C degrees so it was quite hard to get tyres warm enough and some grip :wacko:. Anyway really fun for the long time.

I got my orange/black K8 two weeks ago. Tomorrow is first 1000km (621miles) service. I have already drive over 1000miles.
They are quite busy in those service companies and tomorrow was first available time when I bought that bike...
That is great bike. I can't wait tomorrow when can first time try full throttle... :whistling: Although the speed limit in highway is 75mph and K8 takes more in first gear... :oh yeah:.

My 06/07 Black-Red has some mods, like: Bagster tankbra, 2cm higher rear via dog bones, GIPro ATRE blue, 2cm higher steering, rider pegs rubber replaced by red-black carpet, black swingarm, mechanical +4 timing advance, BMC-R air filter, Iridium sparks, front fender extender, rider seat padded to shorten it & get pillion closer, 3 hard bags attached using Motech rack, tank bag, O-ring on gas "handle" for constant speed, touring windscreen, 18 front sprocket, led back/brake light, red aluminium bar weights, crash bars, maintainance support rolls (rear), extra fuse box, heated grips, 12V outlet, mirror extenders, extra mirrors with extra turn signals, centerstand, 2*phone chargers underneath the pillion seat, 8mm->10mm exthaust to rear pegs support bolts, xenon low/high beams, etc
maybe Pro-Oiler next year?

mostly I'm hoping for ABS Gen.2 to emerge in 2010
