Good Morning Fellas,
So I am getting all my ducks in a row. for project 200mph(+). Platform is probably going to be the 08 busa running a stage 1 turbo kit (leaning towards the RCC Kit).
So my question is this...is the stock chain stong enough, or should I go ahead and upgrade my chain?
If I should upgrade, what is the recommended chain? I have heard to not go with O-Ring chains.
Thank You,
Joe

Street riding miles, EK ZZZ, drag racing the EK DRZ2 same as Pinky posted.

Right on! THank you fellas!
What is the disadvantage of o-ring chains? Or is there?
My bike will be seeing mostly street, with a pass or two in the 1/4 mile, but several passes in the Texas Mile.

O ring is better than no-ring :) Okay, seriously I run the ZZZ Xring model, and recommend it for all riders except drag specific. Ringed (O-X) increases friction slightly, so drag racers prefer the conventional non-o'ring chain, lube and race. Drag chains are also a bit lighter.
For your application, X ringed ZZZ chain would be perfect. If it were more show I'd offer you a ZVX2 in your choice of color.

I had bought a new zzz this fall and installed it on new sidewinder titanium sprockets. What I didn't realize is they also have the new smart chain.I wish I had waited, and purchased that instead...

same as above...
ZZZ if you are going to see more street than strip. ZZZ has lots of strenth, exactly what you want for turbo applications. DRZ2 will roll a bit easier, it's stronger, but requires constant lube. It will be toast if you run it dry once!
