best info, strap front end lower back (adjustable dog bones) if you can. rev bike to 5,000-5,500 light turns green turn throttle to stop slip clutch all the way past 8,500 or it will wheelie. shift bike at 11,500 these motors really want that little more lift and shift no clutch. now i never did 1/8 mile but this bike can go 1.5's all day 60' if you can get it down. my best 1/4 time is 9.52 with a 1.52 60'

I wouldn't go for that 11.5 K RPM shift if it's a Gen I or '99-'07 model.

The Gen I peters out around 9.6K as far as power and torque the Gen II around 11K.

Lots of buddy nights. Enjoy.

hay if going to the Q you will need to let some air out of your tire.
Try starting at 15lbs. start leaving at 4k then 4.5 then 5k go up 500 rpm till the bike spins or wheelies. Also only do three or four passes in a row then let the bike cool down for 15 min or so. Most important thing is not to race down there just do your thing don't pay attention to the guy in the other lane. The one thing about the Q is you can get 20 runs in the first hour if you don't control yourself. Take lots of video. I'll try to come down this friday and help if I can.
