Had the new Busa up to 10200 before having to let off! Was wondering if anyone knew what the real speed is at that rpm??? Buried the speedo at about 9400 or so, was going to fast to look good! The speedo would have been at about 195 to 200!

P.S. All testing was done on deserted air strip close to house!!!:oh yeah:

I am POSITIVE that the speedo is dead-set accurate. I'd say you were doing 200mph!
:duck:

That's what I tell my mates that ride Honda's, so that's what I'm going to tell you!

are you degeared? cuz that doesn't sound right for stock gearing. If you weren't first owner of your busa, check your sprocket sizes, if you are up in the front or down in the back, that number makes more sense.

Stock 08, with slip on's! Didn't feel like it hit the limiter though! I just ran out of room and had to let off! Was just wondering if that was close to the 186 limiter, if anyone has checked it out with GPS in tow???

Good little article! I guess that was the limiter at 10200! Wish I had a good down hill run like the one on hwy 11 going over Lake Keowee in SC. LOL:banana:

Just below Chattanooga, TN, a little town called Chickamauga, GA. Grandpa and I used to go fishing at Lake Murray some. Had family in Columbia! It's been a long time since I have been there... It is nice around the lake!

The lake hasn't changed much ....except the Dam in Lexington county has doubled in size and the entire lake is surrounded by neighborhoods now. :head meets wall: I grew up in Columbia but moved out of the city when I got out on my own.
