Hi everyone,
newbie herte from the UK, been riding for around 30 years(God, that went quick) , had most of the sportsbikes since the 80/90's at one time or another.
On a second Busa now, my first a red/grey 2000 MY, on which I toured Europe on, did a straightline event (not my bag TBH) and a fair few track days on it.
I bought another Busa end of last year, a 1 owner on a V plate, just over 2,000 miles, part of the previous owners collection of bikes and fast cars (http://www.gixxer.com/forums/showthread.php?t=282769#) he built up over the years. I hated this colour scheme at the bikes lauch but I love it now.
Bike was (obviously) hardly used, kept in a temperature controlled garage alongside his other toys, he was also mad into this “auto (http://www.gixxer.com/forums/showthread.php?t=282769#) detailing” malarkey so the inside of the fairing, shock linkages, engine, down pipes and even the rad are better than new..having said that, ive also kept on top of it.
I run a 600 SRAD as well which I use for a thrash in the country and very shortly trackdays. Looking forward to seeing what the forum is all about.
Anyway, some pics
