What ever happened to Velocity Racing? Is anyone still purchasing their turbo kits? Seems like everyone has moved to RCC.
Just curious, but is Velocity still building a quality product?
Thanks,
Joe

 Joe thats a loaded question bro lol, Velocity is still around, props to them, i cannot knock em, RCC imo makes a better kit Quality wise, POWER, there HP#'s show that they do, im sure RCC Richard or Mike will atest to it. Here @ the BusaNation it was about providing my members like your self to the best information, best quality kits/products etc.... I am Boosting my K8, going RCC Kit, I am biased, I had to have RCC Turbos here offering thier great kits:cheers:
Go look at any other Hayabusa board, talk to the Turbo guys, they mostly run RCC or are going to or swear by them. Thats a fact-Duane

Well, that is what I keep seeing on the other boards too. That RCC is the $hit. I guess I have been away from the boards too long. Velocity Racing used to be the bomb. I called and spoke with Ken at V.R. the other day. Super nice guy...very helpful.
I can't tell from the pics I have seen, but does the RCC Stage I kit require you to cut the left side fairing for the air filter? It almost looks as if that particular filter will actually work out behind the fairing without cutting it.
Thanks Duane for the feedback.

you dont need to cut the fairing with rcc stage 1 kit if i remember right
they are good
velocity is good but lacking in places they shouldnt (like an external gate standard with a stage 1)
there are other things but rcc is better
there are a few other companies out there and its all in what you prefer
i know that thunder composites now has a turbo kit they offer also (best priced stage 2 on the market) (almost stage 1 price)
there are a few others also

stg1 kits have the filters inside the fairings. larger turbo kits (35 and 40R )require cutting.
speciality kits sometimes require cutting , but we try our best to fit the filter inside.
and yes , i haven't heard much mentioned about velocity lately.

Well hell, not cutting the fairing for the air filter is reason enough alone to buy the RCC kit!

None of the Ghetto kits require fairing cutting. The new bike I just bought has the 35/40 turbo and the air filter is under the fairing but it was done by shamrock racing.
Seb at NLR makes about the best turbosetup out there for racing.. As for street I don't think his is calm enough.
