I spent a bit time early last season building my 2003 LE busa into a 1397 and making it exactly how I wanted it but alas I felt 200RWHP wasn't enough for me. So I put the bike for sale 3-4 months ago and last week I decided to just keep it since I had no inquiries. Made plans to go to daytona with it and wednesday night someone asked me if it was still for sale and if it was they were VERY interested.

Well thursday and dude passed by to take a look at it and well, safe to see he fell in love. He left me a deposit today and he's coming to daytona bike week me and my buddies with his srad 750 and after bike week, he's paying the balance and taking the bike

The question is how long will I be busaless for? I'm seriously considering taking a season off but the bike isn't even gone yet and I'm already having busa withdrawals and pricing up a stage 1. Even got my eye on a 06 LE busa:whistling:

God help me....

What's wrong mimic ....you can't put a turbo on that 1397 ? Compression is the problem ? That's a beautiful bike ......even "I'm" gonna miss it ! :crybaby2:

Compression is too high and turboing oversized motors is not a great idea due to the thinner walls of the block. I coulda just got a stock block and turbo pistons but that's a a waste of a very well built motor. It's cheaper for me to just buy a stock one and start from scratch instead.

But don't worry guys, I'm already looking for a stocker to turbo and I'll be sending out my spare painter set to paint the same as my last bike so it will essentially look the same except for the pipe. I'll have a dump pipe instead :whistling:

I was having withdrawals about 45 mins after the guy said he would take it let alone the deposit he left yesterday
