Bros and Sis..
Need Your Kind advice and Recommendations..
Currently just traded in an '02 Gixxer to get an '01 Busa..
Facing this problem from last week Friday.
Having problems with my first gear move off. No power.
It seems that the bike is stuck.. as if the air mixture and fuel mixture is
not right..Need to crack the throttle more in order to get it moving right.
Already checked the plugs, the injectors, the air filters. everything in order. Also did opened up the clutch to check.. No Problem there.
Bike in stock, no TRE, No mods, standard exhaust. The thing is, Bike is now currently at 200,000 plus Milage. News from the last owner
was top servicing was already done.
Need Help Please! Thank you!
From Singapore.

Possible the cam sensor needes to be adjusted.:umm:
How does the bike run when you start it, and does it idle at about 1050 to 1150 rpm?

Thanks doom&gloom.
The bike idles at 1150rpm - 1200rpm.
But idling is not so constant.

Thats normal to a degree, I like to keep mine between 1100-1150 to support oil flow and charging power.
What do you mean by no so consistant? Could you explain in more detail.
This only happens in 1st gear is that correct, does this problem affect 2-6 gears aswell?

Revving of RPM is not consistant in a way that in idling, it revs up till 2000. from 1150 sometimes till 2000.
And yes, it affects only in Gear 1 or during slow moving in 1st gear.
Does the Fuel pump have something to do with this? Could the problem be caused by a faulty fuel pump or a dirty one:umm:

Try this. read these 2 threads.

Going into dealer mode may answer your question, the trick is to take off the rear tail fairing to easily access the dealer plug.
Its pretty easy to do, just a pain in the ass, I have sausage fingers so I have to take it apart.
Hayabusa Org. has this the Fault codes from the manual.

Try these and see what happens:confused:

Check the fast idle and make sure it's not operated. After starting and warm up it needs to be in the normal position. :umm:
