I am about 6'4" and find the stock foot pegs a bit high. The obvious solution is adjustable rear sets.

Do any of you guys have any experience of fitting rear sets to a K8 Busa?

Would appreciate any advice or recommendations.

you can use any rear sets that fitted 99-07 on your K8 like Gilles, Vortex etc....... I did find these for the 08 GenII busa from K-Factory!

Excellent news:cheers:, the Gilles web site does not make it clear that they would fit the K8.

I will keep you posted on how I get on

Don't know if rear sets are the answer. I'm 6'2" and have a brand new set I installed for about 2hours and promptly took them off. They were the most akward feeling things, not too mention they interferred with the kickstand and made shifting difficult. Maybe others have had better experience but I have set I'll get rid of cheap but don't know if they will fit an K8 (fit my K6LE). What I ended up doing was removing the rubber pads off the stock pegs and it was like night and day.

the rear sets from 99-07 will fit the K8. Gen I and Gen II busas share the identical frame and the rear sets screw onto the frame so no issues there.

I was pondering a solution to your problem and I thought of something inexpensive to help you out.

You can just cut a piece of aluminum with 4 holes in it according to where you want the rearset to sit. Then bolt that to the frame and then bolt the stock rearsets to the plate. Check out my Picasso picture.

you can essentially put them as low and as far back as you like but remember that it will affect how much you can lean.

This is top quality cad drawings at there best:thumbs up: expect a call soon from the Suzook design team:rofl:. Thanks for the tip, it would work and easy to implement but........I feel that mod would always look like a diy jobby. I am fairly sure I will go with the Gilles as other mot's are certain that the rear sets for the Gen1 will fit ok. Cheers anyway
