I think it's about time to start upgrading my Busa :oh yeah:. I have in mind the Akrapovic 4 in 1 oval racing exhaust. I will buy it second hand. What is your opinion about this exhaust? Furthermore, what else do i need to change in case i have this exhaust on? Some say i have to buy a power commander with different maps, some no..What do you think? I have no idea what to do..The power commander will cost me about 300 euros extra..:umm:

lol, sorry, i just woke up to see this post lol, I have followed this general rule:

If i go FULL system, I go with a PC to map it and maximize the HP gains if any?, Slip-ons, I have been known not to bother re-mapping or adding a PC


Power Commanders allow to to fully maximize, ultilize the performance via TUNING!

its essential to have the right map as well! thats why you need to have a pro(pro shop tuner) w/dyno IMO to optimize the total bikes performance and have your Busa respond instantly, smoothly and very crisp:smoke:

Get a PC with your full system. I had a full Akrapovic on 2 bikes and they are fantastic pipes of excellent quality. I gained about 12HP on my gsxr 1000 with that system and a powercommander.

But 300 Euros? You're getting ramped! You can get one NEW from north america for 275$USD or used for about 200USD and if you buy a used akrapovic here, it's gonna cost about 550$. Then have the whole thing shipped to you and you still gonna save money due to the exchange.

with just the pipe and PC you can just use the regular map from dynojets site. If you want a REALLY nice map you can contact Quasar and he can make you a custom one that will blow your mind. He does all my maps.
