:head meets wall: Hi all, I have a question for a non busa bike. I have 90 ZX10 that has been in storage since 2000 when I got my busa. It was put away as if it was the end of the season,gas stabilizer oil change so on. I would start the bike every month until the batt gave out in 2003. I have a friend who wants to buy the ZX10 and I want to wake it up. The only problem is the engine seems frozen I will be on duty for the next 4 days but when I get back home I want to work on it while I'm waiting on the new exhaust for the busa. ANY in put would be great.
thanks for your help

* Remove spark plugs
* put in some dextron 2 - car transmission fluid.
* be patient and let sit.
* cross fingers and try to turn over a couple days latter.
* Sometimes Works for vintage bikes that were neglected .
(( Engines that sit to long any moisture pistons stick to cylinder walls.))
Any long term storage mist oil into cylinder bores .

merfys marvel mistery oil will free a piston up too. are you shure your battery isn't just dead. make shure it has a good charge on it before you turn the key. if it is frozen, fill up the cilinders with mystery oil and let it sit a few days, then put the bike in 2nd and try to rock the pistons free. if it dosent work, refill and let set some more, and try again later.
