Three months ago I decided it was time to get rid of the Busa. Numerous factors drove me to make the decision.....examples: several close calls with deer over the past few years, the crazy amount of rear tires we go through, more speeding tickets than ever before & lastly, my back was starting to disagree with rides longer than an hour.

So I posted her on Craiglist ( internet trades & sales ). A local guy contacted me about a car he & his son had been restoring while he was in High school. Well the boy graduated & got a new car. The guys wife said the project car had to go. So the Busa got traded for the 1969 Chevelle Malibu - all matching #'s - 350 ci - 2 speed Powerglide tranny - 3.73 rear end.

I couldn't choose one over the other so I got both the Jeep then the busa a week later. Both 09's Love them both but the busa gives me the best thrill and more looks form the ladies!! hahaha

That is a beautiful car.... and against popular belief... you don't have to leave this site...it looks like you have been around long enough that you have wisdom you can still share with us... it is a sad day but we all have to move on at some point some with our busa's some without!!

Yup....I'm not leaving. There will be more bikes in the future. Maybe my next bike will be after the upcoming model change on the Busas....:oh yeah:

Ooohh....bad news from WARputer, I am really sorry but I am sure he will come back on a new Busa soon. :thumbs up:

Its always a sad thing to see a treasured bike go. puts a knot in my stomach. haha
