Ride Suggestions - New York / Vermont

The wife and I are planning a trip to NY/VT in a few weeks, definitely going to Lake Placid but no real plans from there. Does anyone have any suggestions for good roads?

click on the state then area on the state ur gonna be and it shows "good" motorcycle roads. but sorry not familiar with anything in those states.
