Hello everybody, as i wandered in the internet i found this site http://www.factorypro.com/dyno/true1.html. Please check it out and tell me your opinion! Moreover, it seem very logical to me, however it made me vary unhappy! Most of the time the truth hurts :not worthy:

Wow that's a far cry from 160 RWHP for Gen I and 175 RWHP for Gen II that's always talked about.

sounds about right to me, all i have are slip-ons and mine made 143. i don't know what kind of dyno it was.

factory pro is correct. :cheers:

With slip-ons my Gen 1 made 148 on a Superflow.

On page 2 it explains how the Dyno jet was "fudged" to make a Vmax HP chart read higher.

Well when the Harly guys are talking big HP bikes its usually the same HP numbers we get out of our starters.:cheers:

I THINK back in the beginning My Hp was in the 150's. And there IS a large amount of tune-ability to many Dyno's, so they can be made to show #'s that make customers happy. Also when we started modding all of those 10/15hp didn't. On the other hand, the Nitrous Express system I run has shown constant hp improvements through tuning. I guess this falls along the lines of what happened the other night. We pulled up next to a young guy on a Busa, SRAD says" hey is that thing fast?" the guy replies"Yeah 200mph!" we both just started laughing. :oh yeah:Everyone has a 200mph Busa with 200rwhp!
