My buddies '10 ZX14 is making 13hp more than my 08 Busa through the power curve then ending at the same 185-187hp at peak. Those guys pull the secondary "butterflies". My question is, has anyone done this on thier K8? and if so have you seen any notable HP gain? I cant have a Kawi making more power than me with otherwise the same Brocks and Power commander set up!!!!!

Dyno charts aren't everything :head meets wall: A lot depends on rider, but I imagine you'll smoke them in the 1/8 and 1/4 and I know you will in the mile.

Haven't done it or known anyone that tested it. I also have never seen a bike as ugly as a ZX-14. It's good to have them around, makes the Busa look purdy :thumbs up:

Two mods I've heard of, but not a lot. 1) R1 throttle bodies for quicker throttle response and 2) pulling the secondaries.
Like I say you don't hear a lot about either mod.

Read a little about it on the org. the other day and most said not to, but everyone is different so i dont know, people trying different things is what helps make everything keep getting faster.

i have done the throttle tube and love it..as far as the secondaries go,i have heard that it feels better in lower rpms.. but as for making more power,I don't know..but i do know i will be doing it.

I've never heard of this but if anyone has done it with success I'd like to hear more about it. I have yet to do anything to my orange 08 except exhaust but if this is a fairly simple way to get more power out of it I'm all for it.
