View Full Version : Lever Advice Needed

Can anyone please point me towards levers or a mod that allows a higher (closer to the grip) setting for clutch and brake? I have looked online at many types and sets of levers but none give details on travel distance or distance from the grip.

I have a problem with my right hand (accident damaged) in that I struggle to cover the brake and operate the throttle, because the lever is too far from the grip.

It is for a 2009 model.

You may want to check out controls that stunters use for mods .
How close of distance would you need the lever to the bar?

ASV C5's....they are infinitely adjustable, and have a 5 year guarantee against any kind of breaking....and they look and feel great....here are a couple of pics of mine.

Currently 50/55mm, but need them to be 35/40mm with 20/25mm travel.

Measured from the front edge of the grip to the front edge off the lever the Pazzos are at 55 mm at the closest setting to the bar on my gen1. Total travel is 26mm which at that point the rear edge of the lever in in contact with the grip.

cheers

Ruder i also have a Gen2 here is the closest setting with Shorty - Pazzo levers .
Depending on your movement of your hand they may work if you can use 2 fingers .
I know some people with disablities and modified bikes you may have to modify a cheap stock lever even .

The FP Tactical are 50.8 mm at closest setting, with 25.4mm travel. This is a GenII with an 09 GSXR-1000 master cylinder.

According to your gauge it is 30-35mm - I will take a look into those.
Thanks.

A good idea, however the pricing is a bit steep. $549! :surprise:
