After Market Exhausts??? Cause Problems??

Do you have to remap or reprogram if you modify your exhaust? That is one solution I got from a different Suzuki shop for the reasons for my overheating? I went with a 4-2-1 Yoshi pipe.
Another was that my timing may be off?
Any Suggestions?

Now I'm being told I may not be able to remap due to not have a Power Commander installed on my bike????

You're running a Gen I from your avatar. With a full exhaust you need a PC based on my limited knowledge of these things. You could reflash the ECU on a Gen II. I'm running a PC on my '08. Flashing was just being talked about when I bought mine. If you're racing go with Bazzaz Unit. It operates the primaries and secondaries on the Gen II. Flashing seems to be the best all round option for the Gen II. PC on Gen I.

Don't know about the overheating. Your A/F would be off.
