yup, and that's only with the slip ons. I heard Brock was making 193 with a full system so far. Still in testing phase. I can't believe how much power that new busa is making with bolt on mods!
I bought my 03 for 7k and dropped another 4k on it for over size 1397 and paint and bla bla bla to make about 195RWHP
I'm still ahead of the game in terms of bang for a buck cuz it's gonna cost more then that to pick up an 08 and get all the new bells and whistles for it but man, it kinda hurts to see it make the same power and my 1397 with just an exhaust!
The 08 should be easily pushing the 215-220 mark with 3mm oversize and 12.8:1 pistons and some cams with no porting. Freakin ridiculous!
I'm already uber worried about my busa getting stolen I can't imagine how paranoid I'd be about an 08 knowing how in demand that motor will be!

Bore is the same. Stroke is 2mm over, not 3mm.
Aside from that, the injectors are now feeding 16 shots instead of 4 and I believe the throttle bodies are now tapered.
I am sure that Suzuki did a lot of hard looking at what people were doing by changing over the intake cam and how it was the same and a whole lot of cheaper than the Yosh Stage I's. So, I am sure that the cams got a bump on profile and the springs and keepers are most definitely stronger/lighter material.
They really dialed this thing in. (or so we think):oh yeah:
Mimic,, I am with you in thinking that offing the whole lot of an '08's running gear, i.e., engine, throttle bodies, sick injector set up, ECM, etc., etc. so that you get to keep your own body work but have the new to build up on!
Keep in mind, too, that this is an O2 sensing engine/exhaust for Euro III emission reasons, so maps can be infinitely detailed.
