Sorry Doom...
I was just waiting for a car to pull out of one of those driveways...and with both of them in one lane side by side....someone would lose out...

Yea street racing is crazy. I ride with guys that will race down main street columbia. Now thats crazy. We go way out in the country with roads that you can see for miles both ways before we run. I know its still crazy but the rush is something I can't get from anything else.

I was agreeing with what you where saying, I was seeing what you where seeing" A disaster waiting to happen". Urban street racing is where must people die.
Take it to the track or at least a secluded area with no side driveways, a clean road, reduced aroma of bacon, where your full gear and have a charged cell phone if the unfortunate happens.

Well, I'll give him the benefit on the foot shifting as some fellas he rides with on the other forum say that it is all foot shifting. I didn't really notice the shifting anyway...just his buddy 2 feet away from him in the same lane doing those speeds...ya sneeze...yer facked!!!:whistling:

Your bike sounds really quiet compared to mind. Seeing we both have the same exhaust but I have the cannon.

Yeah it does run strong!

THE 1000 has cams, head porting, air shifter, five inch over swingarm and NOS. The NOS has never been shot. It does not have a lot of torque so its hard to leave without spining the tire so I can jump him out the hole but he can run me down on the other end. My bike is stock other than the exhaust, swingarm and lowered. We both weigh the same.

The first vid you shifted way to early. Why are you using the clutch lever to shift...? You are just getting your clutches hot and making them slip by doing that. It could be another reason you are getting pulled on the big end. It holds down low and then when they get hot they slip as the speeds increase.

Pick a better road WITH ZERO TRAFFIC if you aren't going to take it to the track...
