Have anyone heard of the cold air intake from performanceandperfection.com , they claim it will give you 4 - 7 Hp's. Thats just as much as some exhaust systems and it's only $149. If so please let me know what u think of it and is it worth the money

I wouldnt waste your money on it !! You can buy heat shielding for $45 bucks or less a sheet at your local auto parts dealer.
Its not worth the investment its more of a gimick!!

Yeah Doom is right. I bought some heat reflective tape with a asbestos lining from "DEI". I got it from a parts store for 28 bucks. Its good to 1500 deg.
I poured a RYE AND COKE MINUS THE COKE and spent a night in front of the TV covering my airbox with the tape.
I don't know about the claims but i do hope it gives me better response around the city on a hot day. We all know how the BUSA works in stop and go riding.
Plus, im only out 28 bucks if it does not work. The rye was good though!

Hi all, I would like to try the tape thing on my intake but I'm having a hard time finding it. Is the tape called anything else?
