I'm planning on touring Europe next year on my K8 busa and I'm looking at a few different luggage options.I also have a Kawasaki versys which has hard luggage all ready fitted, which are givi v35 style panniers. I believe Motech make a quick release pannier bracket for the Gen II's but my problem is will this fit? I have an Ermax fender eliminator and a full Yoshi TRC system. Has anyone else fitted these size of pannier with this exhaust? Any help much appreciated.

I use some old joe rocket bags and my wife has a set of Gears bags. They work well but look like hell. I put Mac tack on the fairings to protect them from the bags as they will scuff the shit out of your bike.
Hope this helps

Right guys I found this thread, this is the luggage system I want and the guy has also a fender eliminator. Just the boxes are different than the ones I'm gonna use and it's a different Yoshi too.

Seen the GIVIS on Wars bike and newbus - they are the 121s i wondered what mountings the panniers have - are they the same as the GIVI topbox , i have some older E45 panniers that used to be on my wingrack - wondered if these would fit.
War if you are about did the R77s cause any further damage to your 121 panniers ?
cheers Mcbean

For the money I went with Nelson Rigg soft bags. Fully adjustable and snap on and off in seconds, so you just carry them into your room.

I have never heard of Mactac. I just googled it. Ken is right, that is a DAMN good idea! I'm going to look into getting some of that. Wonder if it is waterproof. :umm:
