Though, to be honest, there is a slight element of truth to that statement, in that IMO it seems, sadly enough, that a noteworthy percentage of Busa owners bought the bike just to pose with, or because they see their friends bought one, or just because it's the cool to have "the fastest production bike in the world". That, or they belong to the slammed/stretched/turbo crowd.... which is definitely not my thing. To say the least.

Until I found BusaNation, I was starting to wonder if I was ever going to find a Hayabusa forum that actually focuses on prepping the bike for serious riding and touring long distances on it.... seems many 'Busa forums are fairly ate up with the 25-45 year-old range of alpha-dog males that just want to spout off and/or otherwise be confrontational in every post they write.

I needed info on how to remove the right fairing on Gen II GSX1300R. I found that info through a Google search which led me to Busanation. Wish there was a whole technical section on GenII Busas somewhere on the site, but I am happy I did find the info I needed. Seems membership is made up of good people, willing to help. I do not see or use the big GSXR as a speed demon. Any good 600 pilot can leave it in the dust at the track, but on the street its the most comfortable bike I have ever experienced and in my mid sixties I appreciate the limo like ride it offers.
