The instructions that come with the speedohealer say to keep the device away from the ECU. I mounted mine in the trunk section under the hump on the left side mounted with the included doube-sided tape. I followed the factory wiring harness and routed the wires along that.
You can try to get to the speed sensor connector by lifting the gas tank if you have small hands and small forearms. If not you'll have to remove the fairings on the left side of the bike.

Hi all,
I have mounted my speedohealer these days and I can say it's worth the money, I am really glad about it. I adjusted it -11.0%, because I use the rear sprocket with +2. What I like is especially the memory about the last topp-speed.
Ok, now I know the topp-speed with sprocket+2, it's 285km/h. I will change the stock sprocket again, I am sure the topp-speed will be real at 300km/h.
I will use the sprocket +2 on the race tracks.

Could I ask you what rpm you were doing in 6th to get that 285kph with the + 2 sprocket , as this is a change I was looking at doing did you notice much of a change in the way the bike pulled with this gearing.
Also does the healer remove the top speed limiter

Also does the healer remove the top speed limiterNo it does not, but you could program it so that the bike thinks it is going slower than it really is. Unless you're going to go faster than the limiter there is no reason to spend money to remove it. And if you're going to spend money to remove it I'd flash the ECU to do it since you can do a lot more stuff besides just removing the top speed limiter with flashing. http://www.activeboard.com/forum.spark?aBID=99460&p=3&topicID=29087258
