The greatest and fastest road race in the world.For one
week the seaside town of Portrush in Ireland's North coast
is brought to a stand still with 100,000 visitors,all
there to see one thing.Have you ever seen guys
doing over 200 mph on open roads that if were
open some would be 30 and 40 mph zones.It's truly
breath taking.

Some yes but most see that a lot of businesses in Postrush and
its surrounding need it to make money and keep there business going.

What time of the year is this event ? If I ever visit Ireland , I want to schedule the vacation at the right time. :cheers:

Usually mid May mate,this year the race it's self will be on the 17th May
with practices on the Tuesday and Thursday that week.

Ive got The Isle of man !985 to present on DVD and Joey was a legend and David jefferies not far behind. We have a Really good Duke video importer in Sydney and am on its mailing list for any new vids...
Are they Barry sheen bikes your in front of in the other thread? Another Legend and adopted Aussie..

Yes mate,it was.It was at the classic bike show in Stafford England.Yes
duke video does a hell of a lot of the road racing.If you wanna see a really
good race get the 1999 Ulster Gp.Jefferies and Joey racing in that race
was totally amazing.

He was killed at a race in Estonia in Eastern Europe mate in 2000.A really
sound guy,as down to earth as they came.I had met him a few times
and I've been in his pub quite a bit.D. Jefferies was killed
3 years later at the TT.I have a painting of the two of the racing
at that Ulster GP,best riding I've ever seen I'll never forget it.

Will definately make enquiries about adding it to my collection. Ive seen a print from the 99 tt i think it was senior tt Joey and dj airbourne next to each other AWSOME.
Duke hhave released Tribute DVDs for DJ and Joey very good watching.
The thursday of our Moto GP weekend we have a ride to Philip Island called The barry Sheen ride and this bike Generally leads the bikes in....
