To be totally honest in my opinion both are complete sh*t!!

There are no real performance gains( No mapping provided ) and the sound is loud but sounds like crap. Sounds more like a lawn mower with no muffler.

No offense, usually the people who buy these have no real cash for a quality exhaust.

You will have to spend quality time and cash at your local dyno shop!

Just my opinion:thumbs up:

Most of this is true, I got the Tailwindz slip ons which are identical to Hotbodies. True they dont give you any extra perf (aside from the weight loss, at least from stockers), in my opinion they sound GREAT, at idle it sounds excellent.

I bought them cause I wanted to get rid of stockers and just could not afford 800 for other slipons.

Are you talking about a full length slip-on or a shortie?

I priced all after-market pipes for my Bus and when I saw and heard the Slash Cut megaphone I was sold.

I understand that performance wise I did not gain any direct hp, but when you factor in power to wieght ratio I gained in that department. I put the Bus on scales the other day and she wieghed in at 203 kgs, with half a tank of gas.

As far as sounding like a lawn-mower without a muffler, I'd like to find that lawn-mower and ride into town on it, cause the Bus sounds like a bad ass motherf*#!er that got up on the wrong side of the bed.

Oh, and it looks awesome!!!!!!!!!

You could stick a length of drain pipe on your Busa, at the end of the day, its still a Hayabusa.

I've had my 08 since Feb 08 and I still cant wipe the smile off my face when I'm heading out for a ride.

Happy Hayabusing.

Save your money for a full system. Hot bodies are crap.

I have a 06 Gen I, I have a full Akrapovic 4 -1 exhaust and couldn't be happier. It sounds great when you get on it but not so loud that it would annoy the neighbors when you start it up. In my opinon it was worth every penny I spent. It is pricey when compared to others but worth it. Hope this helps. Ride Safe.

I have a yosh r77 slip ons with a mod header ( no cats or ox. Sensor and heat wraped )a buddy of mine has the full yosh r77 exhaust with just about some mods I have and his has less than 1 hp more then mine.that's why I didn't go with full exhaust.if I had to go back to stock, its a lot easier to just put my stock cans back on.I have custom painted rims so I want to go with the short exhaust and I like it loud.
