Hi everyone,
I have a 05 busa and basically it's stock except for some body mods, and a yoshi exhaust. :thumbs up:
I'm going to get a performance air filter and some new sparkplugs.
Which brings me to my question. What make should i buy? a friend recommended a K&N air filter and some NGK Iridium plugs. he said they were the best.
Just thought i'd ask you first.
Any advice is more then welcome. :umm:
thx.

I have a DNA air filter for sale. It's one of the best you'll find. Iridium's are also supposed to be worth a HP or two.
If you don't want to buy my DNA, I'd recommend a Pipercross.
K&N...ehh.

alright i check that one out.. but one more thing.. i was looking into performance ships, and found one that I'm not sure what to think of.

this is pretty cheap HP:surprise: and I'm wondering.. is it safe to put a chip into your bike? and if not this one, what would be your choices?
Don't want my precious to die 15 miles after installing.:smoke:

The only thing that $25chip will do is make you $25 lighter, less weight=faster. The only thing that's safe is a powerprogrammer or something that's tuned by someone that knows what they are doing. Try some gearing. Its rare you make top end runs and gearing will give you that extra kick

I agree with MiniTrucker on this one......if that "power module" was from a reputable company, their tech service would have a phone number instead of an email address. Never heard of the company either, if their product actually did accomplish all those things for just $25, their name would all over the major sportbike magazines. Sounds like a cheap TRE to me.

I'd have to agree, I picked up a pipercross and noticed improvement, they carry a life time warranty, not sure about the plugs.
