Tyre choices

I have just got a 2001 Busa and want to change the tyres, I ride quite hard so grip is very important. I have been told the the Busa has special tyres and you can not put anyones on ! Is rhe true ? It currently has BT56 which I hate, please help.

Bt-016 i like mine so far and pushed them pretty hard this last weekend and they work great.

Anyone use Pirelli`s on their Bus ? Always ran them on my previuos three bikes and they are fantastic in all conditions , even on track days !

my choice was Michelin pilot power 2ct, and i really don't regret getting them, i was using bt56's and my personal opinion is that they're dangerous!! if it's max grip i recommend pp2ct's or the Power one they're supposed to be outstanding for the track..

I've also heard that the dealership recommends Pilot sport HPX for the busa and the big ninja..
