I just finished the installation of the M4 Slip ons, got a question to all of you. Am I the only one who feels that there is less torque now? it doesn't feel as powerful as it used to be, at least in C mode (it's cold here so I didn't dare to use more power yet). would appreciate your advice.
Thanks
C

Got Vid made but it's about 20 mpg sized will take some pictures tomorrow. Well I didn't do any remapping yet as I am not sure how that would/could affect the already predefined power mode settings or what affect the PC would have on the same.

I was thinking maybe getting some different bafflers for the exhaust that would change the air flow might already do the trick as its probably not getting enough pressure back from the exhaust.

I've just put Yoshi slipons on mine, got to say I didn't notice any difference except it sounds fantastic - in A mode it goes like a scalded cat - you sure the extra noise isn't fooling you into thinking the engine is working harder?

You need to remap it for any hp gains and you won't get as much gains on slip ons as you will on a full system. Did you also change your air filter?

The Busa is mapped a bit fat from the factory according to a few Dynos around town. You can put a 4-2-1 yosh on the 08 and it will still be a bit on the rich side. On my 99 I leaned it out a bit an it picked up a bit more power.

I talked to Dynojet yesterday and they told me there will be maps for the 08 next week.

well thanks for all the input so far. To answer your question "mimic" I didn't change the air filter yet but waiting for a K&N to arrive soon. I also got told by another source that apparently they had the same slip ons installed and at least in A mode the power stayed the same, something I can't test right now.

I was thinking about your input regarding the extra engine noise...I am not sure anymore but I realy don't think so...I remember wacking the throttle quite normaly as I used to do and the bike was going abut 50 mph which seemed a lot slower than I had in mind from earlier...but well I probably have to take it one a few more times to be sure...

Well on the other hand I don't need the same power anymore to overtake cars as they now just simple break and run away, thinking a fighter jet is attacking from the rear :)
