Changing a transmission on a Gen I ???

Does anyone know if it's possible to change the transmission on a Gen I Busa just by opening the bottom casing of the motor? :umm:Or do I have to drop the motor and open it complete? :confused:Just purchased an undercut tranny.

I would doubt it could be done very easily in the frame,, if it could be done at all,,besides it would be hell trying to put things in place without everything falling out,, Just drop the motor you`ll be done faster and easier,,
