My first past on my 08 busa was 9.59 @ 144 mph. 1.6 60ft 6.17 1/8 mile. Best time of the day was 9.57 @144mph. My buddy on the 1000 that had been kicking my butt on the street could only run a 9.75. At the end of the day he had a knock in his engine. mo money mo money mo money.

Congrats man! Your E/T is pretty good but your MPH is way down. How were you shifting and at what RPM...? How much do you weight again...? This may be why he comes around you on the big end on the street (you might want to check it out)....

The bike is stock. i ahve a pipe, lowered, straped, and 4" in the swingarm. I weigh 180lbs. Can't say where the shift points were I was too busy looking where I was going. I know when I hit second I carried the front tire a long way. This is not my first time down a track but my first time on this bike. I was expecting more mph. Don't understand why. I need to have it dynoed for the pipe but it left damn hard.

i dont think your mph is down thats exactly what i run too, were we live and race we dont get the high mph that other people at lower elevation do.

I agree at high elevation however, he's in South Carolina which should have him trapping higher than where you are in ND... ;)

I thought I would have been closer to 150 mph. I was tucked down from second gear on.
