Hi,

Just got myself a 2nd hand 2006 Hayabusa Red/Black and being riding around town to get use to it.

Only thing is that I thought the idlying speed is rather high at slightly more than 1K and you can feel the engine sound and speed quite obvious.

What is the manufacturer's recommended idlying? 900rpm or .....??

Appreciate your comments.

:welcome_horns: suzubusa. Mine's 1100/1200 rpm and works fine. If your's only 900 rpm I recommend to raise it a little bit

Show us your ride !!!! :thumbs up:

In this forum there is a post with info about this. I bought a K7 new, and think from factory idle speed was low. Recomended is around 1150-1250rpm
I'm running fine at 1200 +-. Better for oil presure and engine sounds fine. 900 rpm is too low.
I have post a youtube video about this for users with don't have any to compare.
If could be usefull to you is here:

Set it about 1100-1250ish. Factory setting is about 900 and they stall (lots of forum FAQ's about stalling).

Welcome to the Nation
I recently bought an '06 as well, mine was idling at about 900 and found it was too low. I find it idles smoother at about 1100 :thumbs up:
Owners manual recommends 1050-1250

Yeah..I don't know why they set them so low, my 1k was like that too when I bought it.
