MY BIKE HAS BEEN DOWN ALL WINTER FOR ADDING ALOT OF CHROME, PAINT ECT... IN ADDITION I ALSO PUT ON THE EMISSION BLOCK-OFFS, ADDED A K&N AIR FILTER WITH THE AIR BOX MOD, AND CHANGED FROM A REGULAR SHORTY EXHAUST TO A VOODOO SHORT DUAL EXHAUST SLIP-ON.... OTHER THAN THAT JUST REGULAR MAINT...OIL CHANGE,ANTIFREEZE CHANGE, NEW STATOR COVER... NOW THE BIKE IS FINISHED AND IT WON'T RUN AND WHEN YOU TRY TO START IT LONG ENOUGH IT WILL BLOW FIRE OUT THE EXHAUST!!!! I'M LOST... PLEASE GIVE ANY SUGGESTIONS...ALL WILL BE APPRECIATED
JUST TO ADD TO IT, I HAVE CHECKED THE INJECTORS AND PLUGS IT SEEMS AS THOUGH IT IS WANTING TO FLUD' OUT.
ALSO NO POWER COMMANDER IN THE LOOP WILL THIS MAKE THE DIFFERENCE????? All this is in all caps because I am getting extremely p####d off!!!!!:head meets wall:

You got it , no power commander or fuel management system.
Do you have a GenI or GenII ? I'm guessing its a GenI

I am no motor expert, but if all you have done to the motor is a K&N air filter, cut out the flapper valve in the air box, and installed short slip on exhaust and you bike is not starting and flames are coming out the exhaust I would say you have a problem greater than a simple remap will cure.
But I'm no motor expert, so take my advice with a cow lick of salt....

Maybe a dumb question but did you put new fuel in the tank or is it the same fuel in the tank when you took the bike apart?

I have to agree also about it needing more than a map...I rode my bike for a week on stock map, with a full system installed and the air box mod completed and had no problems other than just not peak performance....I have to think that either your gas has gone horribly bad or that a mistake was made on blocking or not blocking lines off with the airbox mod.

It would still start and run with your mods.
What did you do under the stator cover? I'd check there, also re-check the injectors, plugs, etc, check all your ground wires...just start from square one with the manual nearby and confirm everything one step at a time (even if you've already confirmed it).
It should start and run with a K&N, box mod, blockoffs, and slip ons. Chances are you bumped a wire on accident and knocked something off when you were working on it.

That's sound advice.

As far as I can tell, VooDoo exhausts are basically open pipe with optional plates to reduce sound.

I would say this would screw up your mapping, compounded with the other mods. Bet the ECU is going nuts trying to figure out what the hell is going on. On there website they dont mention mapping either.
Again this just my opinion.

Thanks guys the problem has been solved.... It turned out to be a bolt inside the stator cover that had backed out of the sensor which made the sensor out of line... in which gave the ECM a false reading that resulted in it back firing and all kinds of crap... So mental note to all.....use lock tight on all bolts.......... After fixing the problem it ran like a dog poopin razor blades... Thanks guys:oh yeah:

I would still consider buying a power commander if I was you. That exhaust system you have is leaning you fuel levels out big time... It'll make more power and just run better in general.
