It's the middle of the winter, I'm bored and I'm waiting for the fairings to come back from the painter. So in the mean time I've taken a link out of the chain, changed all the fluids, installed ram air seals, cleaned up the pistons in the brake calipers, WD40ed all the electrical connectors, checked the torque on all the important lookin' bolts and did the Yamaha R1 1/5 turn throttle mod.

Seeing as how theme bikes are popular and even though they are not getting paid for it people often use products in their theme, I've decided to go with the coolest of them all.....

But seriously, I'm just having the stock black freshened up, the stock decals clear coated, and the vinyl stripes replaced with paint. The gold pins are going, the red stripes are being widened, darkened and shot with pearl.

The painter is going to match the stripes as best he can to the red "R" on the tail.
