Welcome 1st of all!
Just to clarify, you are asking if you can take an exhaust full(Muzzy 4-2-1) system from a GenI busa to fit your new 08 GenII hayabusa? that is a great question and i am sure someone here will know, I want to know as well:umm: -Duane, Dam! I dont have a popcorn smiley either Ahem "Warlock" lol:whistling:

thank you
yeah. i was told no by the dealer but they also said the lowering links dont fit either. the links fit mine fine. i was told to try a 07 1g exhaust. i dont have one laying around and the friend lives 6 hours away.

It is my understanding that the Gen I full systems can generally bolt right up to the K8 machine, but there are few systems that need "adjusting", and even then, the canister may not set exactly perfect... the Yosh Tri-Oval 4-2-1 full system is an example of the latter.
Still, it appears that you can do this if you accept the small imperfections.
On the TiForce 4-2-1 system for the Gen I, it's my understanding that it's almost a direct bolt-on... just have to add a small spacer for the bellypan on one side:

minor imperfections is nothing to me. i was worried about the header bolting up to the engine. i have a tig welder and plasma cutter for piping trouble.
