If any has not seen the 1k GSXR tail conversion for the hayabusa then check this out here.

If you have then, ou know there has been many questions of how, where, how much, how hard. Recently I found out at CSCbikes.com they have put together a kit for anyone wanting to do this conversion. This is the email traffic between myself and Nick at cscbikes.com.

Yes we do sell a complete 2007-2008 Gsxr tail section conversion for the 1999-2009 Hayabusa. The complete kit is $1899 and consist for the following.

1. New trellis front subframe powder coated black
2. New aluminum box section rear subframe
3. New Suzuki seat cowl assembly
4. New Suzuki solo seat cowl
5. Hayabusa seat latch
6. Gsxr seat latch cable
7. Extended battery cable
8. New Suzuki tail light
9. New Suzuki turn signals
10. All wiring and hardware
11. You will need to extend your starter solenoid wires about eight inches and relocate you tip-over sensor
12. Front seat will need to be shipped to us for modification or their will be a $250 core charge applied for the seat

I've been looking through the site and was wondering about your 2008 hayabusa/GSXR tail conversions. I suppose they are underdevelopment, any info would be great, a kit likethis would be awesome for the busa community!

much as I think it does look cool but for the life of me why would you just not buy a gix1k?? Plus my wifes arse would never fit on this and she would whinge all the time! (more than now anyhow)

it looks good but the busa tail section is one of the things i like about my bike. i agree with busakid, it doesn't look passanger friendly. it is a cool mod thow.

I agree, the "Hump" is what makes the Busa stand out in a crowd like no other bike. When you see it, you know it's a Busa ! :oh yeah:
