Hey guys,
Unfortunately, im in a position where i need to get rid of my bike.
I just wanted to thank the people who have helped me on here, and wish you guys the best. Of all the sites i was on, this is the one i considered to be the friendliest. Tybalt was a big help to me when i was doing some of the mods, as were a couple others.
Im not sure if this is the right section to post this on, but since i had a K8 i figured i would post it up in here.
Props to Tybalt for starting a great thing, and im sure it will continue to grow. In a couple years when i buy another Busa im sure i will come back.
Best of luck to you all.
Not trying to use this post to whore my bike, but if anyone is curious, here is the ebay ad for it

Nice bike! I'd be interested in your feedback on how you like selling or trying to sell a bike on ebaY.
I have a ad in draft for my 99 but have concerns if the reserve price is met (GOOD!) and the buyer decides not to purchase - as I read it ebaY earns thier entire ad fee of $100+. So far I do not know anyone that has sold a bike/ auto there - but haven't asked either.
Hope you can make it back HERE with a bike as early as you want.

And don't forget to list it on Craig's List. I sold my Ducati using that site alone and it's free.

Well the auction ended this morning and no one bid on it. I ended up have nearly 1500 people look at it though.
I guess i will just hold on to it to the spring and see what happens, i probably wont want to get rid of it once its nice outside again.
It was going to ease some things for me financially, but im thinkin i could ride it for another year and it would depreciate very little.
I have ~$12-13k in the bike, and was going to have to sell it for around 9k with only 4,800 miles on it. I think i can enjoy it for another year and still get 8,500 or so :umm: maybee? Just trying to crunch some numbers.

Hell Yeah !!!....... As for the price , they vary so much anyway, with all the after market parts people add on. This morning I was looking at two 06 Busas .....a plain stock one for 9K and one stretched/chromed all over for 13K. I bet ya the 13K one sells first. :oh yeah:

Ever look at a picture and you can remember exactly how you felt when you took the picture?
I found a picture of my bike from when i saw it for the first time at the dealership. It still had the white powder on it in some places on the bottom of the fairing because it had just been taken out of the crate. That whole week i couldn't think about anything but that bike and when it was going to come in. I remember starting it up for the first time with 0 miles on it. Only new vehicle i have ever purchased.
Just kinda got me choked up and realized that maybe i should keep it. It was almost a relief when the auction ended on ebay and no one had bought it.

Yeah i think so
I was cutting it fairly close on money, but all i really need to do it cut out some other little stuff and i think i can swing it.
I just bought a 98 trans am to daily drive since my camaro is a little too radical now, so i was going to get rid of the bike to offset the price of the TA.
I want all three now, lol.
