Hi Guys,

Am new around here.. I posted this yesterday but got it got drowned in another thread, need some help. I just self installed a Yosh 4-2-1 with Carbon cans. While taking off my stock cans I came across a four point connecter coming out of the mid section of the stock cans, and there was no such provision on the Yoshi's. I went ahead and completed the mod anyways. I think it's a gas analyzer possibly wired back to the ECU.

The bike runs fine, in fact much smoother and sounds awesome, but I have the F1 warning and the red light coming on the dash. Any ideas what i need to do to get the alarm off, is there another system tune up step of something that I have missed out on.

Thanks

Sounds like the lamba sensor fitted to certain Busa model exhausts?
I had the lambda sensor on my 02 model, removed it, fitted a blanking plug, but the fuelling will need remapping. The lambda sensor is just about fuel efficiency and emissions nothing to do with power.

Hope that helps, but get it remapped !
