Well i took the 08 to the track again after going 9.46@149 last weekend hoping to improve some more. I had a good amount of passes and was able to get a better hold on the bike and ran some good times. My best time of the day was a 9.30@151, with about 4 more passes in the low 9.30s, with three 60fts at 1.52. My 60ft on the 9.30 run was a tad slower than most of the day with a 1.585, 330ft-4.051, eigth mile-6.071@121.75. The weather was 78 deg. with about 58-62% humidity. The mods to date on the bike are lowered-strapped,brocks alien head,pc3 and mr11 fuel thats it, no air shifter or extensions. I will be going back out this next weekend to hopefully dig deep into the 9.20s and maybe more!!!

Nice numbers. I get to race about once a month as we only have the NHRA track here in Vegas. I so wish there was a small local track that had weekly races.

what strip are you racing at if i may ask??? Also what rpm are you leaving at, those are outstanding 60 foots... my front end comes right up when i leave hard, anything lower than a 1.7 60 foot for me seems to just want to stand up no matter what i do. are you lowered all the way ? im only in the second hole on my links mabey next season ill take it all the way down. yeah try to get some pics or vid that would be awsome!!!

The track i was at this weekend was Cedar Falls Raceway in Cedar Falls Iowa. I am lowered on the lowest setting and strapped all the way. The bike will still come up very hard if i get to agressive with the clutch and im still a tad sore from learning the sweet spot. I launch at between 5800 and about 6200 bringing the clutch out to about the half way point pretty fast and then just riding it slowly out after that. The bike will still 60ft very good at the higher rpms but be carefull with how fast you let the clutch out, its very tricky. You pretty much ride the clutch out very slow the second half of first gear. It was a good feeling going against the other guys zx14s and busa's that were strectched out and pulling better 60's then them.

Oh and my gearing is still stock, i dont dare touch it with the stock swing arm on. Its hard enough to keep it down as it is, ill wait untill i extend it.:smoke:
