busa bogging and popping

i have a gen 1.i did the small box mod without a pc. i have a tre installed. i had no problems for the first couple hundred miles but now it seems like it is running rich. i didnt do the pair mod yet but i want to, maybe that will stop my backfiring. in the first 1/8 turn of the throttle i bucks and boggs down. what can be causing this. its scary to go through a corner and have the bike buck

you removed the flapper valve(small air box mod) but did not remove the pair valve?

remove the pair valve, get the 4 block up plates, when you remove the flapper valve, this is to be done with removing the pair valve together!

i blocked off the hose going to the pair but it still stutters and bucks really bad. i also noticed horrible gas mileage. it like it running too rich

Remove the TRE and see if it acts the same

i removed the TRE and it still acted the same. it bucks in the first 1/8 turn of the throttle. usually in mid rpm, but it has happened in the entire rpm range. i adjusted the idle a couple days ago so it was back to 1150.

Put the busa into dealer mode, retrieve the C CODE # on the dash, is there a C# coming up on the guages?

What rpm's are you at when it bucks?

it happens between 4000-4500 rpm. could it be my spark plugs?
