I have great memories of Australia, competed at Lake Gairdner in 2000. Any of you been there?

By the way, fell in love with Coopers in the Red Label. Gods own piss. Still wondering what the floaties were in the bottom though...

We have two guys that Compete ,but dont have any times but from the sound of things they have big things instore in the New year(bloody turbo boys are a secretive lot), I drink VB we leave the Coopers for the tourists :oh yeah:.

Well we got together for a end of year ride and piss-up at Jindy again, sadly no 08 busas showed but did have a Burger King turn up.
I was wet most of the time but didnt stop us from having a great time, 15 busas 1 B-king 1 VFR800 and a BMW met at Jindy Friday arvo Nov 30th with the majority ridding down from Sydney witha few from Victoria and ONE brave soul from South Aus . Sat morning involved a few repairs which were delt with by a show of comrardery and team work( Simmo on his Copper 99 broke his subframe on way down, mised the ride as getting bike repaired) then it was off to do a loop ride of our Snowy Mountains Highway Approx 340ks in the wet, then back to the resort for beer and a whole heap of laughs and booze .

The first post is from the GM in february this year, and the previous is a end of year ride . Our next BIG gettogether is presently for NOV/DEC next year.
But im pretty sure that us in Sydney will be doing another run early next year, ive just returned from 2days on the Oxley hwy checking out some options.
So all those not from out this way, the Oxley hwy and suuround has some the best bike roads in aus, the Oxley streaches from Benemeer( 39ks out of Tamworth) to the coast at Port macquarie, with a hand full of great roads branching off from it.
Heres some from my latest trip.

Cools pics - didnt know about the club in Feb but now I do and looking forward to catching up with some fellow Busa riders in Sydney some time. Going up to Bendemeer thsi weekend via Buckets and Oxley then returning Thunderbolts should be a hoot - as prev post said to those OS: the oxley is one of the greatest rides here in OZ and certainly a highlight in NSW, prolly only Tassie would trump it I rekon.
See you on the road sometime
