Hi all,

I ordered RCC stage 2 kit for my K8. I will be going around 3-4 # boost. But may increase boost next year with the modification of engine parts.
The kit will be coming with Tial 50mm BOV. The add on electronics will be AMS 500 2 stage boost controller with gear based activation, Power commander, wideband commander and LCD unit.
First question is do I need dynojet multifunction complete hub kit to connect all the stuff. As you may know this hub kit has a boost input option makes it possible to have the fuel automatically increase with boost level. When an adjustable boost controller is used, this capability eliminates the need for re mapping each time the boost level is changed.
Second, I have no info about ignition modules. Do I need with turbo applications?
Third, do I miss any other electronics to go.

Thanks,

Hattat

when you run more boost are you going to use the ams500?
for 3 or 4 psi it is hardly worth it.
while the dynojet multifunction hub is pretty cool , it is really just a matter of choice.
if you are getting a stage 2 with secondary injectors and fuel controller computer you won't need the powercommander anyway.
wide band - yes

Thanks forthe input. I already purchased PC, wideband, lcd and ams. But I think I'll gonna install all. The reason I'll install ams 500 is that, it will be the first time for me riding a tubo bike. Frankly I cant imagine what kind of throttle response I will see even with 4# boost. So may be I will set 2# with first gear and the rest with 4# of boost.

What is the advantage of having multifunction hub kit. As I mentioned there is a boost input option. if I dont use it how will the fuel adjust itself for the more boost and will the harnesses coming in the boxes be enough to connect each other.
As far as I know I should purchase a harness to connect LCD and the widebandcommander. Is that all?

Thats a lot of question but I have to learn to install all these electronics.

The kit will come with a 4 psi spring in the gate, the AMS500 can not lower the boost, it can only raise it. The 4 psi spriing is as small as they come, so you really have no way of making anything under 4 psi.
