Exhaust header swap??

I have a older exhaust header(from a 2000 busa),will this fit on an "08"...was thinking of using the old header(no cats) and slip-ons,but I don't know if header spacing and spigot size on new '08' head is the same as the 2000:umm:...has anyone tried this:umm:THX..P.S. I know there will have to be some mods on older header pipe because midpipes and header is one-piece.:cheers:

The headers will fit:thumbs up:, the fitment issues are all from the mid pipe/collector where they rub with the lower belly pan cowl

Tybalt,no one has tried this swap(to remove the cat without destroying the new header)by using an older header...with a little mods and slip-ons??...and installing on the '08':umm:....yeah,I know,if you can afford a new '08',you can afford a nice exhaust to go with it:oh yeah:but there msut be some "Backyard Mechanics",who like to experiment:confused:
