Didn't find the info I need on my search, so here goes.

1. From what I've read but didn't get a "yes or no" answer, on a stock engine even on a hit of spray, the sidewinder will loose a little on the bottom, and pick up on top correct?

2. I was looking at the Roaring Toyz sidewinder, and they said it had more ground clearance than the rest and looks like a quality piece. I was wondering if performance was similar with their system, and exactly how bad the loss of r/h turns is. I don't corner carve with my bike, it's already extended 6", so that's out of the question.

3. From the threads I've found, systems were only around $600, but from what I've found recently, they're closer to $1000.00, has it changed that much in a Max of two years!?!?!?

I plan on doing this over the winter, with a PCIII, tune, and a 60 dry hit. The suspension mods should be coming in the next week or so as well as a new shinko out back. Anything else to consider off the bat. I would like to see low 9's, and I need to practice up again. It's been 7 years since I raced a bike, and I was about 40 - 50 lbs lighter then, so I know about practice practice practice.

Thanks again all,

Dustin

Roaring toyz are BLING BLING guys with the intentions of customizing out hayabusas, they are not a performance shop!!!!!!, there is no gains, you may even lose performance using their parts?you want performance sidewinders, MURRAY, BROCKS, TSUKIGI sidewinders etc.....

Thanks for the heads up. I'm trying to find more info on the Murray, I've heard a lot of talk about theirs. Brock's is always appealing too.

OK.... I have their Swidewinder on mine. I can tell you anything u want about it. And YES!!! it made power. I droped 2 tenths in the 1/4 from this exhaust with a sh1t map in it and prolly could get another half a tenth if i took the time to tune it. Cornerin is ok i've only scraped once but that was with a passenger. As for the low end the "fanny" dyno didnt feel much loss or any at all. Installation is time consuming took me 7 hrs with alot of patience. Now the bad part. 1) Oil cooler goes bye bye. Oil temp climbs when city driving 230 degF (i installed temp gauge) is the highest i seen it so use FULL synthetic oil. once on normal ride its about 185 deg. 2) Oil filter cannot be changed without pullin 3 and 4 primary header tubes off. Schnitz sells a filter relocator for 200 i think. 3) Heat engine/exhaust makes your legs really hot! I wrapped my primaries to help this out so far its ok. 4) Weld quality SUCKS! My little bro could've done a better job with a stick welder:rofl: 5) You will have to trim your faring. They supply you with a template but its way off. Other than that It sounds mean with the baffle in and always turns heads. With the baffle out it sounds like a prostock drag bike. Gotten alot of complements on it on how it looks and sounds. (ppl cant see the welds unless your on your stomach lol) To sum it up if your on a tight budget (like i was) this system is ok. But my next system will be brock.
