Actually, Gen II is a bit of a virgin. I was advised by a good source not to buy it for two years. Suzuki will release the refined version that WILL be the one to step into.

It's funny how words can be redefined even by oneself in comments of the past that seemed accurate and comfortable at the time.

GenIII seems so far away at this point with the economy in such a tangle. :smoke:

I guess by the time I have my Gen II 2009 paid for I'll be just in time for the refined version. hahaa

Bla bla bla GEN II, give it up boys! the Gen I is the nicer lookin bike!.....right?

So many had their own interpretations as to what the GenII should or should not look like,, speculation this, speculation that. Then when it finally came out there were those that hated it and those that jumped right on the bandwagon!

I remember when the Hayabusa first came out - there were those that immediately wanted to revamp it and its components.

Ahh, the memories of days gone by,,, but I still like the advancements of new technology!
