hey all new to the forum, got a k8 busa in blue, got my crg levers on and no matter where i put the position the clutch doesnt engange/click until the lever hits the bar, I stalled my bike today for the first time tonight:crybaby2: cause usually the lever wasn't touching the bar to be engaged, does anybody know if i an adjust where it engages?

i have them on my k8 and there is change in how they work compared to stock as the actuator goes all the way through the hole in the lever end. but my clutchworks the same as it always did. check to see that the actuator is seated inside the hole and touching the back side of the lever. i will go take pics of mine and post.

it is touching the back side of the lever, i wonder if they make an insert that is a touch shallow or maybe drop a couple washers in there

I put the stock gold colored piece in from the original lever, fits in the hole, i played around with it a bit today, works a little better, i might bring it to my shop and see what they can do with it

as you can see i did not use that piece because they dont work the same..take that gold piece out like i did and it should work fine!!

i pulled that piece out and didn't like the way they felt, put it back in and for some odd reason it works like 3 times better then before. still not close to stock but better.

it would seem to me that by having that brass colored insert in there it would start to disengage the clutch.. as soon as i start to pull the lever in it starts to slip the clutch just like stock..you are pushing in on the actuator just like pulling the lever by inserting that piece into the lever.as you can see in the pic the actuator is at the backside of the lever. if i put something inbetween the lever and the pin i am starting to dis-engage the clutch. other than better leverage and a smoother pull the clutch should perform exactly like it did b4 you removed the old lever. the fact that its not should make you take a step back and look at whats really going on and why it infact does not work the same as you say in your original post.

So given the info on CRG levers, and the problems some guys are having with the Pazzo levers hitting the front fairing at full lock steering, which is not much,

Which is the better lever to recommend to a guy to purchase.

I need to know badly, I love the pazzo b/c the whole thing is black and the adjustment is red...

i have CRG and have no problems. at full left lock the the top of brake lever barely touches fairing but doesnt move lever or scratch fairing.

I have set of long pazzo levers on my k8 and they dont hit the front fairings at all even at full lock steering.
