There's a "before" and two "after" pics. You want to make certain the O2 sensor isn't going to contact anything and that there's enough room to actually install the O2 sensor after having the bung welded on. I thought these might be helpful for those considering the install of an O2 sensor.

My Hayabusa is a 99, so its ECM lacks the capability to run "closed loop". All tuning had to be made manually via my Power Commander II map.
I mounted a Halmeter AF30 on my steering head so I could view the A/F ratio real-time. The Halmeter AF30 has 10 Red LED's for the Lean range, 10 Yellow LED's for the clean-burning stoichiometric range, and 10 Green LED's for the optimal to turboed range.
I purchased the Halmeter AF30 from Racetep.com many years ago, but I just recently visited their website and they stated the Halmeter AF30 is no longer being manufactured. Too bad, it's a nice little unit and for $189.00, it also included the O2 bung and the Lambda heated O2 sensor.
