I've finally found a Busa forum that isn't totally committed to speed! I'm about to pull the trigger on a bike after a few years without one. I'm too old to want to put the red needle against the peg. I'm more interested in going, quickly, where I want to from 1 mile away to 500+. What I haven't seen is how comfortable/stable is the Busa with a passenger? I am looking at putting on a set of saddle bags and a tail bag when needed. Everyone has an opinion as to why I shouldn't get a Hayabusa but I'm spending the money, I decide what I buy! It fits! Of all the sport bikes, tourers, harleys, etc. that I've tried out, sat on, the Busa and the ZR 14 are the two that fit my size (6' 4", 220-250 lbs.) that I've found and I like the Busa. I'd appreciate any info you have as far as how comfortable the bike is for a passenger riding anywhere from 10 miles to 500 mile trips.
Again, great forum!

SIMPLY
great for touring
great for passengers
great for taking it easy
great when you want to twist the wrist .

you wont be disapointed in your choice .

what I would love for touring would be
the corbin pillion seat and back rest and the hard panniers .

check out corbins site for it they look great .

welcome mate, you'll find all the answers here, Plenty of riders tour with their Busa's, The one feature that has kept the bike alive for nearly 10 years is the fact that it can be anything you want it to be...from drag bike to show bike, tourer to shopper.

Keep us informed our your decision.

i will go the other way and say that after a 160 mile trip on beautiful pacific coast highway me and my 125lb passenger were totally beat!! every part of our bodies ache even our elbows!! our asses hurt too. i am 6'1 185 and my neck and back are killing as i write this..a new seat and a touring style windscreen would help. the main thing causing the pain is the vibration the sets in at what are normal highways speeds here..70mph.. the tank starts to buzz so bad my knees start to really ache and with the rerarsets i put on my feet are buzzing cuz i removed rubber mounted stockers. it can be made into a great touring bike for you and passenger but i honestly think as it comes it is a brutal ride after the 1 hour mark for me..having said that i can blast through the canyons all day put 300 plus miles in and never get a single ache!! but my speeds are generally below 60mph. good luck. i just wanted to share another opinion with you. some people can ride a hard tail all day and be fine.
