Remove all rivots, remove the end caps both ends, cut off how much you want, one end you can just put back the end cap and re rivot, the exsisting holes will be there, just line them up, the cut end you will need to drill new holes to put back the end cap, put back end cap and use a sharpie marker and line up , mark dots to drill for new rivots, remove the end cap, drill the new holes on the black marker points, put back end cap and rivot-voila, * line up exhaust hanger clamp to exhaust passenger pegs or hangers to see if the bracket will line up? you may have to slide the clamps up or down to re mount them to the pegs?

in the EXHAUST ARENA, "PICS OF YOUR EXHAUST THREAD" MIMIC has pics of his shorty yosh pipe. because most emblems of the companies like yosh, hindle, brock etc.... seem to be @ the end of the pipe, you remove the plates but you want to keep the already rivot holes to put back the emblems. so most cut from the front, you also have to see where abouts the exhaust clamps will line up to the hangers?????? to decide where and how much you cut, because you have had your exhaust on for awhile, your clamp will have left an impression into the canister, you may want to keep the line up there so that you cant see the previous markings of the clamp.
