Hey Flyboy are you from Holland? My wife is Indonesian Dutch. Born and raised in Holland (nijmegen). We go twice a year. I just love the Country, except the weather. But things are changing yet it still is the freest Country in the world. Live and let live, just a wonderful people. OH AND THE FOOD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Everything is so fresh.

Too many American think Holland is Amsterdam. That is like judging America by Las Vegas. But even that is changing, Muslims are taking over government and pushing their moralities on the people. Dutch are just sitting by and letting it happen.

Alabama should be a 180 degree change for you. My kids live there because they go to Auburn University.

Anyway welcome to the board. Do you have a Busa?

Just found this thread.
My name is Martin and I'm from Holland. I used to live in Brabant close to Tilburg. I was riding a Kawasaki ZZR 600. Since 1996 I live in California (came over because of a job offer). I had in mind to try it out for a year and now I'm here for almost 12 years. I love the area and weather. In 2005 I bought my Hayabusa (new) and enjoy riding it in the Santa Monica Mountains, Angeles Crest , Highway 33, etc.

Hey Guys, thanks for the warm welcome. I've been living in The States for a couple of months now an indeed.....it is different. But we like different. So far so good. Yes, i brought my bike too, a 99 black and grey version. Bringing it was no the problem....or should I say is..!? I still do not have a title on the bike because it seems like they are trying everything within their governmental powers to keep me from getting one.....just because they are not used to what a Dutch title looks like. So I'm having it translated by an official translationagency as we speak. Let's see if that works. So I'm not too happy about that part. But next to that....you guys 've got a lot of neat stuff here and pretty cheap compared to The Netherlands......go go euro go

For those who's interested an update. Been here for over a year now and still enjoying every part of it....at least from from the moment I got the title of course. Still doing the webmaster stuff for the Dutch Chapter, but really miss the meetings with the boys and galls.
Still searching for mods for the bike.
